“People and Planet first”
At Zen at the Glen, we believe that diversity in all its forms makes our community stronger. As part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility, we are proud to support and employ individuals from the neurodiverse community, including those with autism.
We actively create and provide meaningful work opportunities for neurodiverse individuals, offering roles that allow each person to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Our workplace is built on respect, understanding, and flexibility — values that help all of our team members feel seen, valued, and empowered to reach their potential. We know that neurodiverse minds bring unique perspectives, creativity, and strengths, and we are dedicated to nurturing these talents through inclusive hiring practices and ongoing support.
This commitment is deeply personal to Kate, the “not-so-brainy brains” behind Zen at the Glen. With many years of experience working with autistic and neurodiverse young people, Kate is passionate about ensuring they are fully included in society, especially through access to meaningful employment and opportunities to thrive.
Kate is also the founder of Soul Adventures IOM and the visionary behind the Neurotribe project — an exciting new initiative developed in partnership with Autism Initiatives. Funded by the Manx Lottery Trust, Neurotribe will launch in 2026, delivering nature-based interventions designed to support the wellbeing, confidence, and connection of the Island’s autistic community. (More details to come soon!)
At Zen at the Glen, this ethos of inclusion and support is not just a mission — it’s a movement. And we’re proud to be part of creating a more inclusive future for everyone.
